Our FAQ is very short.

1. How your counter works with new versions of Flash players with "security" additions.
It works.
2. What if visitor will refresh page ?
Number of visits will be same. We calculate "return" to page as new visit only after some time after first visit. That time is different for different time zones and it may be from 20 minutes to 24 hours 50 minutes.
We are working at same time for everybody.
3. What is the max number of hits that can be calculated
9999999999999
4. What about counters opened before September 2000 and old "image like" counters ?
Everything will work. And you also can start using new "load movie" script using your old ID number.
5. Is there any plans about adding some kind of statistics to your system ?
No...
6. Can I take a look at your php script ?
Yes :)
7. Why my old counter don't count....
All problems with counters registered before Sept. 12 2001 were fixed at last on Jan. 04 2002 - sorry, but there were no reports from users. Now everything must work.

How to set up counter.

You may say in the first keyframe of your movie

If (counter <1)
Load Movie ("http://polar-lights.com/counter/countme.php?di=your_id_number&"&Random(10000), 100)
End If

And replace your id number with number that was shown to you on activation page.

After that simple action you will have variable "counter" in main timeline and you may use it :)
